Magnificent Montserrat

Santa Maria de Montserrat is a Benedictine Abbey about 30 minutes outside of Barcelona, tucked into the side of the mountain of Montserrat.  The monastery was founded in the 10th century and still functions today. We rented a car and drove straight up the mountain on our way from Barcelona to San Sebastian.  The drive is beautiful and easy.
