Outside of San Sebastian, we stopped in Bakio for some surf, but it was flat.  I pried Ryan away from the waves long enough to check out this hike I’d read about on Pinterest, of all places.  San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a tiny island connected to mainland by a zig-zagging man-made bridge.  A chapel dedicated to John the Baptist that dates to the 10th century crowns the top of the islet.  Rumor has it, the latest season of Game of Thrones filmed a critical scene on the island just weeks after we were there.
