I worked another charity dinner with Chef Lata and Chef Stanhope this weekend, joined by James Beard chefs Debbie Gold and Jimmy Bannos. Charleston’s fairy godmother of food & beverage – Terri Henning – donated her incredible penthouse as the venue, even though she was out of town. The day started out cloudy and gray but gave way to a spectacular sunset, which is becoming a delightful theme for the charity dinners I’ve worked recently.
